I met my man through my mom. Her friend (our middle man) was also good friends with his family. On my man’s birthday last year, my mom’s friend showed my man pictures of me that my mother had sent behind my back and that was how our fate was tied. You know how mothers can be, that was how my mom came back to tell me someone was interested in me and she showed me his instagram. I picked interest in my man the very first time I saw his page. I don’t know how to explain it but there was this feeling that he was going to be the one I would spend the rest of my life with. I didn’t get any message after a week and my mom thought he was unserious about me not knowing my man was the shy type. I texted him first with the intentions of getting to know him more and to also find a life partner.

YES! I made the first move and I’ll do it again!!

We really got close so fast as we had so many things in common. After two months of knowing each other online he travelled to my location to see me for the first time and that was when our relationship started. Our distance was not even a factor to stop us from what we shared. We made our intentions clear as we are both two direct and straightforward people and that is why we are where we are today. I know what I wanted more than anything and what I wanted was him. So now we’re locked in forever and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with him. He’s my God-sent blessing and I’m grateful.
